About the neighborhood

The American Colony is A tiny charming neighborhood nestled between Noga and Florentin with several historical landmarks and small museums. Short walk to the many shops, cafes, and restaurants in the area, Jaffa, Neve Tzedek, and the beach. It was founded in 1866 by a group of Christian settlers from Maine and New England, they arrived in Palestine with wood and materials to resurrect their homes in the New England style.
